Description

Are you a BDM with 5-10 years experience? We’re looking for someone who has track record selling technology based services and solutions to senior executives within enterprise-size companies in Australia? While this is a senior role, we need someone who is hands on and comfortable with new business development, prosecting and lead generation.

You will engage clients strategically, deeply understanding their needs to offer solutions that deliver genuine business value. You will also have the opportunity to grow a team down the track.

Role Start date is flexible to start in January or early February 2025 and the ideal candidate must be based in Sydney.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Development and Management: Build and nurture a structured pipeline, consistently identifying and pursuing opportunities to expand the client base.
  • Consultative Selling: Lead an in-depth consultative sales process, thoroughly understanding each client’s business requirements and crafting tailored solutions to meet their goals.
  • Confident Presenting and Pitching: Confidently present to senior executives in meetings, clearly articulating the value of Vervio’s solutions. Supported by the Delivery team, you will lead presentations with a polished approach, capturing client interest and demonstrating Vervio’s expertise.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with technical and delivery teams to ensure the client’s requirements are accurately delivered and aligned with Vervio’s quality standards.
  • Client and Internal Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, transparent relationships with clients, fostering trust through clear, honest communication and reliable delivery. Demonstrate the same trustworthiness and openness within the Vervio team, supporting our culture of integrity and collaboration.
  • Strategic Reporting: Regularly provide insights on sales performance, client needs, and industry trends, helping shape Vervio’s sales strategies.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven Experience: A minimum of 5 years experience, ideally within the digital space, specifically in enterprise websites or digital transformation projects.
  • Unearthing B2B buyer Needs: Strong ability to engage senior stakeholders to understand their key challenges and business priorities. And, presenting complex solutions in a clear, compelling manner.
  • Trustworthiness and Transparency: Demonstrated experience in building trust both with clients and within the company, ensuring transparent communication and a commitment to long-term relationships.
  • Presentation Skills: Confident in delivering presentations to prospective clients, especially in first meetings with enterprise clients, with the ability to immediately convey Vervio’s value.
  • Self-Motivation and Initiative: A self-driven individual with a proactive approach to achieving targets and fostering relationships.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal persuasion skills, ensuring clarity and professionalism in all client interactions.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Digital Experience Platforms / CMS tools, preferably Adobe stack.
  • Experience using CRM tools such as HubSpot for tracking and managing pipeline activities.
  • A sound understanding of digital transformation
