We’re on a mission to make a difference for future generations through innovative solutions in the recycling industry, and we need a passionate Partnerships Manager to join our growing team.

Position Overview:

As a Partnerships Manager, you will play a key role in driving new business development and managing existing partnerships. You will work closely with the Director of Partnerships and the broader team to acquire, manage, and expand partnerships with a focus on environmental impact and sustainability. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, as you will be responsible for identifying opportunities, negotiating deals, and ensuring the successful implementation of programs and campaigns.

New Business Development:

Identify and develop new partnership opportunities within current and new customer bases. Drive the acquisition of new clients through effective lead generation, networking, and business development strategies.

Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing partners, ensuring mutual value is delivered.

Campaign Management: Oversee the negotiation, development, and implementation of recycling programs and campaigns for partners, ensuring campaign objectives are met and performance is tracked.

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement innovative partnership strategies to expand both current and new partnerships. Evaluate potential partnerships, identifying optimal opportunities for growth.

Sales & Performance Targets: Achieve monthly sales targets and KPIs by effectively driving business development efforts, managing client portfolios, and identifying new opportunities.

Proposal & Reporting: Support Account Managers by creating tailored proposals, handling client correspondence, and preparing detailed sales and performance reports. Provide regular updates on the impact and outcomes of campaigns.

Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to deliver high-quality service and ensure the smooth execution of partnership programs. Respond to client requests in a timely and professional manner, identifying solutions that meet their needs.

Administrative: You may be required to prepare case studies, impact statements, outcome reports and freight quotes

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact
  • Understand clients’ needs and objectives, and develop strategies to meet their goals
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop proposals
  • Manage client accounts, including contract negotiations, billing, and invoicing
  • Monitor client satisfaction and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner
  • Provide regular reports and updates to clients on project status and progress
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and provide insights and recommendations to clients

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in account management or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
