About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Blending Operator to join our production team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for accurately blending and mixing raw materials and ingredients to produce finished beverage products in accordance with approved formulations, quality standards, and food safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate blending, mixing, and batching equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Accurately weigh, measure, and combine ingredients according to product recipes and batch sheets
  • Monitor blending processes to ensure consistency in taste, colour, viscosity, and other product specifications
  • Conduct in-process quality checks and record results in production documentation and batch records
  • Perform CIP (Clean-in-Place) and manual cleaning of blending equipment at the start and end of each shift
  • Manage the receipt, labelling, and storage of raw materials and ingredients in compliance with FIFO principles
  • Identify and report any product non-conformances, equipment faults, or process deviations to the supervisor
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area in compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and food safety standards
  • Complete all required production paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in team meetings

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a blending, mixing, or production operator role, preferably within food or beverage manufacturing
  • Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and food safety principles
  • Ability to read and follow batch sheets, recipes, and SOPs accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good numerical skills for weighing and measuring ingredients
  • Capacity to work effectively as part of a team across rotating shifts
  • Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)

Working Conditions

  • Work is performed in a manufacturing environment and may involve exposure to heat, noise, and wet conditions
  • Role requires standing for extended periods and the manual handling of ingredients and materials
  • PPE is required and will be provided
