Description

About The Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Junior Supply Planner to join our growing Supply Planning team, supporting our Ingredients and Subcontractors category.

This role sits at the heart of how Tropic keeps factory running – working closely with our Senior Supply Planner for Ingredients & Subcontractors, and cross-functionally with Product Development, R&D, Finance, Quality and Operations, to ensure the right ingredients are in the right place at the right time.

You’ll start by building deep working knowledge of our 600+ ingredients and 4 subcontractor relationships, taking on increasing day-to-day ownership as you grow into the role. This is a structured development path: we expect a Junior Supply Planner who progresses well to be ready to step up to Supply Planner within around 12-18 months, as you take on more of the category independently.

Our environment is fast-paced and growth-driven, with the business currently scaling across new markets (including a recent US launch, and upcoming TikTok Shop and Amazon EU expansion). This role is ideal for someone who wants real ownership early and a clear route into a full Supply Planning career.

Key Responsibilities

Ingredient & Subcontractor Support

  • Supporting the Supply Planner with day-to-day planning administration across Ingredients and Subcontractors
  • Maintaining accurate supply and stock data across planning systems and trackers
  • Assisting with purchase order creation and supply planning documentation
  • Building toward independent ownership of a defined portion of the Ingredients and Subcontractors category within your first year

Purchase Order & Supplier Coordination

  • Raising and maintaining purchase orders in NetSuite
  • Tracking supplier orders and following up on delivery schedules
  • Maintaining PO trackers and ensuring consistency across planning systems
  • Coordinating directly with a growing number of our 4 subcontractors as your ownership increases

Systems & Data Management

  • Maintaining ingredient, and subcontractor information in NetSuite
  • Maintaining supply chain master data, including BoMs and product codes
  • Supporting reporting accuracy across supply planning systems and tools

Continuous Improvement

  • Supporting improvements to supply planning reporting and dashboards
  • Identifying opportunities to simplify or automate manual processes
  • Supporting data preparation and validation during system or reporting improvements

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Good Excel and data-handling skills, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exposure to supply chain, procurement or planning environments.
  • Clear, proactive communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • A practical approach to solving problems and improving processes.
  • An interest in systems, data and reporting, with a desire to develop into a Supply Planner role and take ownership.

Desirable

  • Experience using ERP systems, such as NetSuite.
  • A degree in Supply Chain, Operations or a related field.
