Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in the work wear industry who can play a vital role in supporting the Store Manager on overseeing the store’s daily operations. We are looking for a candidate with a proactive mindset who is willing to take initiatives and prioritize stock receivals and the accurate receipting of inventory.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist the Store Manager in managing warehouse operations, ensuring smooth receiving, storage, and dispatching of goods.
  • Counting and receipting stock correctly and following up on any discrepancies with suppliers
  • Assist staff with stock for the shop floor.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative work culture.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including regular store maintenance tasks.
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels, ensuring proper inventory management.

Selection Criteria

Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.
  • 2 -3 years proven experience working in a similar role.
  • Experience in a retail warehouse /store or logistics environment.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement practices.
  • A forklift license (will be an added advantage)
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures/protocols
