Telecoms Build Manager

Technology Powered Services (TPS) is a fast-growing, privately owned infrastructure and technology business. Debt-free and financially independent, we design, install and support complex connectivity and infrastructure projects for enterprise customers and channel partners nationwide.

This role sits in our Cellular Infrastructure division, which delivers the technology elements of UK mobile network programmes: rigging, antennas and radios, power and electrical, microwave transmission, small cells, commissioning and decommissioning. The division is new and growing, so you will help shape how it works as it scales.

The Role

You will plan, run and close out mobile site builds and upgrades across a programme, keeping every site safe, on time, on budget and ready for customer acceptance. You will:

• Own site delivery from build readiness through to completion and handover
• Review designs and visit sites to resolve constructability and access issues before mobilising
• Plan labour, subcontractors, materials, permits and outages, and balance workload across teams
• Coordinate RAMS and CDM compliance, and stop unsafe work
• Build site budgets, manage costs and variations, and report progress and risks to the customer
• Make sure every site closes with a complete handover pack

About You

• Experience delivering mobile telecoms builds and upgrades from mobilisation to handover
• Practical knowledge of CDM, RAMS, permits and construction safety
• Experience managing site teams and subcontractors
• Commercial awareness of budgets, cost control and variations
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites

Highly desirable: experience of 4G and 5G rollout and operator or tower company processes, SMSTS and a CSCS card at supervisor or manager level.
