SRA Solutions is experiencing extraordinary growth and are redefining the market with class-leading solutions to our customers and with this we are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager (Victoria) to join our growing team based in Melbourne.

As an SRA Solutions Business Development Manager, you are part of the sales team and play a crucial role in the success of the business. You work with people inside and outside the organisation to create new business opportunities as well as maintaining key accounts. Your role is finding business opportunities and offering proposals to new and existing accounts and building long-term relationships with customers overall.

Role requirements

  • You must be a self motivated and driven professional with a proven track record of sales target achievement in the technical product, engineering space.
  • You must have a structured approach to time management and a solid sales strategy
  • You must have the ability to manage new and existing key accounts and achieve the set targets
  • You will need a solid technical background in either the electrical, electronics or mechanical field, preferably sales in the data centre space, of either server racks, UPS, cooling or other associated products.
  • You will need to manage your sales opportunity pipeline, including proposal development, pitch delivery and negotiation of commercial terms.

Qualifications and Education

  • Be a proven technical sales driven professional with a minimum of 5 years BDM experience in technical product, engineering sales
  • Possess a personal ethos aligned with our company values, alongside strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, a strategic and creative thinker with a growth mindset
  • Have a Business/Engineering degree, trade qualification or similar
