SF – Mill Hand

We are currently seeking an experienced Mill Hand at our Smithfield Feedlot near Proston, who has a genuine interest in the Feedlot industry and is willing to commit to our mission of producing top-quality beef for our customers. You will be joining a team responsible for the daily welfare and husbandry of cattle in our care.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Operation and general maintenance of modern feeding machinery, systems and steam flaking facility as well as farm equipment.

Daily feed delivery and management to meet quality assurance requirements

Accurate record keeping with a high importance on data integrity and quality.

Assist in maintaining company standards of animal welfare and WHS responsibilities.

Contributing to other areas of the feedlot as required.
