The Role

Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Production and Site Install Team Member to join our manufacturing team in Gympie, Queensland. This permanent, full-time role is ideal for individuals looking to start their career in the manufacturing and production industry. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient production and installation of our products, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the production process by operating machinery and equipment as required.
• Support the installation of products on-site, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
• Report any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to production and installation.

Qualifications:

• No prior experience is necessary; however, a willingness to learn is essential.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes is advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Physical fitness to handle manual tasks and lift equipment as required.

Licenses and tickets (advantageous, not essential — we’ll support you to obtain these)

– White Card

– Forklift License

– MR Truck License

Pay & Hours

– $28–$32 per hour, depending on experience – Permanent, full-time — 40 hours per week

Travel Projects can be based within the region and South Coast but also cover regional areas in Queensland and include interstate.  Any approved overnight travel and meals allowance is organised and paid for by Sitemax.
