Job Title: QC Inspector
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QC Inspector to join our manufacturing and production team in Revesby, New South Wales. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in project and production quality control. As a QC Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting inspections, testing products, and ensuring that they meet the required quality standards. Your attention to detail and strong analytical skills will play a crucial role in maintaining the high-quality standards of our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
– Perform inspections on raw materials, components, assemblies, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications
– Conduct various tests such as visual inspections, measurements, functional tests, etc.
– Document inspection results accurately using appropriate forms or computer systems
– Identify any non-conformities or defects found during inspections and communicate them to the relevant departments for corrective action
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production managers, engineers, suppliers/vendors to address quality issues
– Participate in internal audits to assess compliance with quality standards and regulations
– Assist in developing inspection procedures and work instructions as necessary
– Maintain accurate records of all inspections performed
Skills:
– Strong attention to detail with excellent observational skills
– Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control principles
– Familiarity with relevant industry regulations (e.g., ISO 9001)
– Proficient in using measurement tools such as calipers, gauges etc.
– Ability to read technical drawings/blueprints

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree or diploma/certification in a related field preferred but not required
-Proven experience (2+ years) working as a QC Inspector or similar role within manufacturing/production environment
-Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies is an advantage
