We are seeking an experienced and motivated Full-Time Chef to join our busy indoor play café.

Our venue is a fun, family-oriented space with a strong focus on weekend parties and functions. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and want a role with daytime hours only (no late nights!), this could be the perfect fit.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver high-quality café-style meals

• Manage kitchen operations during busy service periods, especially weekends

• Coordinate food preparation for parties and functions

• Control food costs, stock ordering, and minimise waste

• Plan and manage staff rosters effectively

• Maintain high standards of food safety and kitchen hygiene

• Work closely with front-of-house team to ensure smooth service

🔹 About You

• Proven experience as a chef in a busy café or similar environment

• Strong ability to handle high-volume service, particularly on weekends

• Skilled in cost control, budgeting, and stock management

• Experience with staff rostering and kitchen organisation

• Reliable, efficient, and a team player

• Must be available to work weekends and public holidays
