Join our Network operations team and play a critical role in maintaining the health, stability, and performance of our internal and client IT environments.

REDD is looking for a full-time technical engineer who thrives in a fast‑paced Managed Services environment and is passionate about high‑quality service delivery.

About the Role

  • As an infrastructure engineer, you will monitor and maintain incident response activities across our infrastructure and customer environments. You’ll work with a team of NOC engineers, provide technical support, and ensure our systems remain reliable, secure, and optimised.
  • This is a hands‑on role working closely with internal teams, clients, and our IT Managers and Service Desk.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform daily NOC operations, including monitoring, alert response, and incident resolution.
  • Provide expert technical support and act as an escalation point for infrastructure issues.
  • Coordinate after‑hours incident escalations and scheduled maintenance activities.
  • Capacity planning, resource allocation, and documentation for internal and customer environments.
  • Assist with project scoping, implementation, change management, and patching activities.
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards, SLAs, and best‑practice procedures.

What You’ll Bring

  • 3 years’ experience in an infrastructure engineering role
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Server environments (2012–2019), Exchange, Microsoft 365, Azure, and/or AWS.
  • Solid technical knowledge across virtualisation (Hyper‑V, VMware), networking (Unifi, Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet), SAN technologies, and backup solutions (Veeam).
  • Familiarity with MSP tools such as ConnectWise or N‑Central.
  • Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, VBS) and remote desktop technologies (Citrix, RDS).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide clear, consistent updates to stakeholders.
  • Previous experience in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment is highly valued.
