About the Role
As a Remote Area Nurse, you will:
- Deliver comprehensive primary healthcare across the lifespan
- Provide acute care, chronic disease management, health promotion and education
- Work within a multidisciplinary team including Aboriginal Health Practitioners, GPs and visiting specialists
- Participate in a 24-hour on-call roster
- Travel to homelands and communities by light aircraft and 4WD when required

- Gunbalanya
- Jabiru
- Minjilang (Croker Island)
- Warruwi (South Goulburn Island)

About You
You will have:
- Current AHPRA registration
- Experience in remote or rural nursing in Australia
- Strong clinical judgement, adaptability and teamwork skills
- Commitment to culturally respectful healthcare
- Manual driver’s licence
- National Police Check & Ochre Card (or willingness to obtain)
- Willingness to participate in a 24-hour on-call roster
- Ability to travel by light aircraft and 4WD
Desirable (but not essential):
Midwifery, Emergency, Child Health, Mental Health or Primary Health Care qualifications.
