Registered Nurse

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a passion for helping others.

We currently have an opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our vibrant, compassionate and committed team on a casual basis, supporting a client in Deception Bay. We are looking for a skilled, committed & reliable support star to join a team in providing complex care supports to a child. The role includes,

• Supporting a child who requires complex daily supports – day & active night shifts available. Cares include Stoma care and TPN feeding and Central Venous Line care.
• Shifts are on a call basis.
• Standard 8 hour to 10 hour shifts.
• Training will be provided by experienced team members.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

• Valid NDIS Worker Screening Card / Yellow Card (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid working with children screening card / Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
• Full COVID-19 vaccination (in line with the QLD Public Health Order applicable to Workers in a Healthcare Setting)
• Access to your own phone and email/internet
• Current QLD Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field
• Active Registered Nurse license
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a home environment
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards
