Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Site Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of site operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Site Manager will work closely with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure that all project objectives are met.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of site operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control
- Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with project teams, contractors, and clients
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure that project objectives are met
- Provide regular updates to project teams, contractors, and clients on project status
- Manage and mentor site staff, including supervisors, foremen, and labourers
- Ensure that all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
- Participate in project planning and strategy development
Qualifications:
- Relevant trade background or formal qualification in construction
- 10+ years of experience in site management, preferably in a senior role
- Experience within a multi-storey building environment (minimum 5 storeys)
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
