Origin Support Services WA Pty Ltd is seeking compassionate, energetic and motivated Disability Support Workers to join our growing team across Perth and surrounding suburbs.

We provide individualised, person-centred support to people living with disability, delivering tailored services that promote independence, choice and control. Our services include:

– Community Access

– Assistance with Daily Living

– Supported Independent Living (SIL)

– Respite Care

The Opportunity

We are offering casual positions with flexible rosters, including weekends and overnight shifts. For the right candidate, there is opportunity for progression into a permanent role.

Experience is preferred but not essential. We provide comprehensive on-the-job training and access to Origin tools and resources to support your professional development.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to participants in their homes and within the community. You will assist with daily living activities while promoting independence and respecting each participant’s individual goals and preferences.

Reporting to the Service Delivery Managers, your responsibilities will include:

– Assisting participants with day-to-day activities

– Building positive and professional relationships

– Supporting participants to attend appointments

– Providing support within SIL homes

– Facilitating community access and social participation

– Completing general household duties (cooking, cleaning, laundry, food preparation, etc.)

– Maintaining accurate case notes and incident reports

– Ensuring participant needs are met in alignment with NDIS care plans and goals

About You

To be successful in this role, you must have:

NDIS Worker Screening Clearance

A valid driver’s licence

Your own reliable vehicle with current insurance

Full working rights in Australia

Desirable (but not essential)

Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)

Experience with high-intensity supports

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are strongly encouraged to apply
