Physiotherapist – Clinic / Community

The opportunity;

We are looking for a Physiotherapist to join our team based in our clinic Tweed Heads, NSW.

You’ll work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and have a mixed case load of MSK, NDIS, pre-employment medicals and community patients.

About Optimum;

We are a team of 85+ allied health professionals servicing Casino and the surrounding region from our clinic (with d full rehab gym) based on Queen st, Grafton.

We also have 5 other clinics on the North Coast of NSW and Southern QLD. Our team consists of Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Exercise Physiology.

Things you will be doing;

• Musculoskeletal in-clinic appointments
• Rehabilitation programs in our on-site rehab gym
• Help people living at home to recover their function through home visit community appointments.
• Delivering workplace health services, such as pre-employment medicals, early intervention and injury prevention programs.
• Delivering NDIS services
• Types of referrals include: Neurological disorders, Physical disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, spinal cord injuries
• Functional assessments and reports
• Assistive technology assessment and report
• Growing a case load through networking and relationship building in the community.

Skills needed

• Hold a Physiotherapy degree and General AHPRA registration
• Strong organisation and communication skills
• Valid police check
• Valid drivers licence
• COVID and Flu Vaccinations
• Preference for experience working in community, NDIS, private practice or a combination of the 3. Motivated new graduates can apply.
