Carpark Cleaner

We are seeking conscientious, self-starting car park cleaners to work full-time hours on a casual basis. The successful candidates will be responsible for the cleaning and very minor maintenance of two substantial car parking stations, each with 500 car spaces.

You will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and excellent presentation of the car parks under the Hunter Group portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean the carpark and associated areas to eliminate the risk of slip, trip and fall hazards from oil spillage and to prevent oil stains;
• Use of the ride on sweeper to ensure build-up of foreign debris, oil leaks and worn tires are removed ensuring a safer environment;
• Ensure carpark is clean from litter, debris and foreign items;
• Removal of stains from walls and columns;
• Clean carpark lift interiors and foyers;
• Wipe down all door handles and railings in stairwells and carpark devices such as entry/exit gates, ticket columns and pay stations;
• Ensure all work equipment is cleaned and stored when not in use.

To be successful you will need:

• Excellent communication skills;
• Commercial cleaning experience (experience using a ride-on Sweeper);
• Understanding of Work, Health & Safety principles;
• A current ‘clean’ C class Drivers Licence;
• Flexibility with work hours;
• A positive attitude;
• An eye for detail;
• Ability to work fast and be proactive;
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
