Neptune Security is seeking professional, reliable Casual Security Officers and Crowd Controllers to join our growing team across Darwin. With day, night, weekend, and event shifts available, this is a flexible opportunity to work across diverse sites and frontline operations.
You’ll have a visible, professional presence, managing access, responding to issues, supporting welfare, and delivering top-tier customer service at static locations and major public events.
The Role
As a Security Officer or Crowd Controller with Neptune Security, you will:
• Perform static security, mobile patrol, and crowd control duties
• Respond to on-the-ground incidents and client needs across shifts
• Maintain welfare, safety, and operational standards on-site
• Deliver professional, approachable customer service at events and high-traffic venues
• Report and escalate incidents through clear Neptune Security communication protocols
Whether at a construction site, at a venue, or supporting a public event, your presence matters.
About You
You are:
• A current NT-licensed Security Officer or Crowd Controller (or both)
• Comfortable working across varied shifts, including events and weekends
• Calm, confident, and great with people in fast-paced environments
• A strong communicator who can follow instructions and act independently
• Focused on delivering reliable, professional service – every shift
Required Credentials
You must hold or be able to obtain:
• NT Security Officer Licence
• NT Crowd Controller Licence
• White Card (Construction Induction)
• Ochre Card (Working with Children Clearance)
• Current Driver’s License and reliable transport
Desirable:
• Event security or venue experience
• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
• Familiarity with incident documentation and shift handovers
