**Key Responsibilities:**
– Operate and assist in the operation of manufacturing machinery and equipment.
– Load and unload materials and products effectively and safely.
– Ensure that work areas are clean, organized, and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
– Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards.
– Assist with packaging and labeling of finished products.
– Maintain accurate records of production activities.
– Support the maintenance and cleaning of equipment and tools.
– Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and targets.
– Participate in training sessions and safety meetings as required.
**Skills and Qualifications:**
– Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.
– Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
– Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
– Basic numeracy and literacy skills for record-keeping and communication.
– Good teamwork and communication skills.
– A proactive attitude, with the ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.
– Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a factory setting.
– Forklift operation certification is a plus (if applicable).
**Education Requirements:**
– High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
– Relevant training or certifications in manufacturing processes, safety, or machinery operation is an advantage.
**Work Environment:**
– This position will involve working in a factory environment, which may be loud and require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
