Job Description:

As a Software Developer at MVSI, you will be an integral part of our Engineering Team, contributing to the design, development, and delivery of our next-generation SaaS platform within the newly formed Product Delivery and Platform team. You will help build high-quality, secure, and scalable software solutions that deliver real value to our clients.

• Build and maintain systems that are fit for purpose, well-architected, and aligned with MVSI development best practices.

• Write clean, maintainable code with strong test coverage and a focus on scalable design.

• Ensure system reliability by contributing to security, performance, resilience, and cost efficiency.

• Develop features and improvements that are customer-focused and deliver measurable business outcomes.

• Learn and grow your technical skills by collaborating with senior engineers and adopting best engineering practices.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions.

• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and innovation.

• Participate in shared operational support and help maintain the reliability of our systems.

Technical Skills:

● Minimum of 7 years in commercial TypeScript development.

● Minimum of 7 years’ experience total development experience.

● Extensive experience with the MERN stack, including MongoDB, Node.js, React.js, and Jest for unit testing.

● Proven expertise in decomposing monolithic applications into scalable, maintainable microservices, improving agility and performance.

● Skilled in building responsive, user-friendly interfaces with React, grounded in UX/CX principles to deliver intuitive and customer-centric designs.

● Deep proficiency in MongoDB and NoSQL databases, with a strong focus on performance tuning, indexing strategies, and efficient data modeling.

● Committed to secure coding practices, identifying vulnerabilities early, and implementing robust safeguards against potential threats.

● Adherence to best coding practices, emphasizing readability, modularity, and testability while fostering seamless team collaboration.

● Extensive experience in architecting and developing RESTful APIs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, security best practices, and seamless third-party integrations.

● Experience in leveraging AI tools to accelerate development workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance code quality, productivity and innovation
