About the Role

As a Team Leader, you’ll play a critical role in leading and supporting our frontline teams to deliver high-quality, consistent services to participants. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll guide day-to-day operations, mentor staff, and ensure a safe, positive environment for both clients and employees.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, coaching, and supporting staff to deliver consistent, high-quality care
  • Overseeing rosters, onboarding, and training
  • Monitoring compliance, reporting, and progress notes
  • Managing budgets and household operations across MSJ homes
  • Building strong relationships with participants, families, and stakeholders
  • Handling disputes, conflict resolution, and risk management
  • Driving continuous improvement and staff development
  • Participating in on-call rotations and providing coverage when required

About You

You’re an empathetic and motivated leader who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about improving the lives of people with disabilities and young persons in care.

You’ll bring:

  • A tertiary qualification in Human Services or related field and/or equivalent experience
  • Experience coordinating or managing care services for vulnerable people
  • Strong understanding of disability services and client-focused care
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Confidence managing crises and complex situations
  • Alignment to MSJ’s values of inclusion, respect, and integrity

Additional Requirements

  • Right to work in Australia
  • Current Police Check, Blue Card (or state equivalent), and NDIS Worker Screening
