Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Casual Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will support daily operations, implement engaging educational programs, and ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in our care. This is a casual position, providing flexibility and the opportunity to gain valuable experience in early childhood education. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and care for children in accordance with regulatory and centre standards. Implement and support age-appropriate educational programs and activities. Assist with meal times, hygiene routines, and daily care tasks. Promote a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. Collaborate with educators, centre leaders, and families to support children’s development. Maintain accurate documentation and reports as required by the centre. Participate in professional development and team meetings as needed. Selection Criteria / Required Skills: Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care minimum (or equivalent). Current Working with Children Check and First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certifications. Ability to work flexibly across different age groups and shifts. Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills. Commitment to high-quality early childhood education and care. Ability to follow centre policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Desirable Attributes: Experience in a childcare or early learning setting. Creative, enthusiastic, and proactive approach to children’s learning and development. Ability to engage children through play, arts, and educational activities. Additional Information: This is a casual role, with varying shifts based on centre requirements.
