We are currently seeking experienced, reliable, and compassionate Support Workers with immediate availability for a variety of roles across the Central Coast, including Community Access and Supported Independent Living (SIL) environments.
This role is for those ready to hit the ground running, supporting individuals with complex needs, personal care, and high-intensity supports. A strong work ethic, adaptability, and commitment to a 24/7 rotating roster is essential.
What You Need to Succeed
Essential:
Immediate availability with flexibility across AM, PM, Active overnight and sleepover shifts, 7 days a week
Confident in delivering personal care
(e.g., showering, toileting, incontinence care)
Experience or competency in high-intensity supports, including:
Behaviour Support (Restrictive Practices)
Working under Positive Behaviour Support Plans
Safe use of approved restrictive practices (e.g., environmental or physical)
Documentation and incident reporting
Manual Handling (Advanced)
Use of hoists, slide sheets, transfer boards
Two-person assist techniques
Risk assessments for mobility
Ability to manage and de-escalate complex behaviors and mental health needs
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Current First Aid & CPR, Police Check, and NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain)
Highly Regarded:
Certificate III or IV in Disability, Aged Care, or Community Services
AIN qualification
SIL experience
About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will:
Empower individuals to live with independence and dignity
Assist with personal care, medication, domestic tasks, community access, and emotional support
Promote skill development, confidence, and social inclusion
Manage documentation such as shift notes, incident reports, and progress records
Shifts are offered on a rotating fortnightly roster with sleepovers and weekends required.
