About Us:
At Landlinks, we are dedicated to enhancing the natural environment through comprehensive bushland maintenance, land management, ecological restoration, tree planting & establishment, landscaping, and parks & gardens maintenance. Our work spans a diverse range of settings including wetlands, forests, parks, and reserves. Our depot is based in Dandenong South, but our projects take us to locations throughout Melbourne and Victoria.
Role Overview:
Due to company growth we have multiple full time positions we are looking to fill.
You’ll be working alongside a team in a hands-on position to plant and maintain trees across Melbourne. You’ll be trained on the job and have access to appropriate PPE and equipment.
Your main responsibilities will include;
• Planting and caring for trees, including watering, staking/retying, pruning and mulching
• Weed control – combination of herbicides and manually removing
• Operating company vehicles
• Using tools and equipment in a safe and appropriate manner
• Following our high standard of safety and quality
About You:
You’ll have a love for the outdoors and happy to work in all weather conditions.
Preferably you’ll have some of the following;
Certificates/Licences:
• Driver’s License – essential
• Construction Induction (White Card)
• Truck license high favourable (LR or MR a minimum) or willing to obtain
• First Aid (Level 2)
• ACUP – Agricultural Chemical Users Permit
• Chainsaw – Crosscut (Level 1)
• Diploma / Cert – Horticulture/ Conservation Land Management/Arborist.
• Machine Operation tickets ( Tractor, Loader, Trackloader )
• A commitment to working in a team environment
