Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and serving of food, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, and supporting other kitchen staff as needed.

Skills:

– Knowledge of proper food handling procedures

Responsibilities:

– Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and assembling dishes

– Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area

– Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils as needed

– Assist with receiving deliveries and storing food items properly

– Support other kitchen staff members as needed

Qualifications:

– Previous experience working in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required

– Food handling certificate is desirable

– Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

– Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects if necessary

– A positive attitude towards teamwork and willingness to learn new skills.
