Summary:

As the Head of Product at our manufacturing and production facility in North Sydney, you will play a pivotal role in driving product strategy and innovation. This position is essential for aligning our product offerings with market demands and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. You will lead a dynamic team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence, while contributing to the overall growth and success of the organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement product strategies that align with the company’s vision and market needs.
  • Lead and mentor the product management team, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for product development.
  • Oversee the product lifecycle from conception to launch, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and sales, to drive product success.
  • Monitor product performance and gather feedback to inform future enhancements and iterations.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to optimise product development processes.
  • Present product strategies and updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior product management role, ideally within the manufacturing and production industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in product management tools and methodologies, including Agile and Lean principles.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
