Jem Health is a successful and growing national company providing high-quality pre-employment and occupational health assessment services, with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance and timely results delivery. Due to growth, we are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to join our team on a permanent full-time basis, working Monday to Friday (8am-4pm). This role will be based in our sister company’s office in Warriewood, NSW The successful applicant will be required to travel to Perth for approximately 2–3 weeks for initial training.
The Role
This position has a strong focus on results management, quality control and process improvement across the business. Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Ensuring accurate and timely submission of all results in line with client KPIs
- Overseeing doctor reviews, edits and internal quality checks
- Monitoring and managing turnaround times
- Ensuring all documentation is complete, compliant and securely sent
- Following up outstanding pathology, radiology and GP letters
- Ensuring accurate data entry across internal systems
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
- Assisting with scheduling and coordination of appointments to support workflow efficiency
You may also be required to conduct occupational health assessments, including functional capacity assessments, spirometry, audiometry, ECGs and drug & alcohol screening, depending on operational requirements.
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the following:
- Bachelor degree in relevant health discipline
- Registration/accreditation with AHPRA
- Occupational Health experience preferred, particularly in functionals and assessment components
- Current and maintained First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain/renew)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build rapport
- Intermediate to strong computer skills including demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and using two screens
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn and grow
- A very high level of care and attention to detail
- Exceptional time management, organisational skills and ability to work autonomously and as a team
- Ideally located at or near the Northern Beaches region
