We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee and manage electrical projects
on-site in Perth, Western Australia. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge and leadership skills to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.
About the role:
- Assist with planning & resourcing.
- Assist in the creation of detailed work packs.
- Lead electrical construction activities.
- Inspect work progress regularly to identify any potential issues or safety hazards.
- Manage JHAs (Job Hazard Analyses) for related tasks.
- Supervise a team of electricians on-site to ensure work is being completed according to project specifications.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and project managers to meet deadlines and budget requirements.
- Ensure the accurate and timely markup and compilation of drawings.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Leadership abilities to manage a team of electricians
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and team members
- Problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during the project
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Trade Certificate in a relevant electrical discipline
- Unrestricted WA Electrical License (Essential)
- Certificate IV in Instrumentation (Preferred)
- Supervisor Section 44 or Schedule 26 Training
- White Card
- Valid WA Driver’s License
Experience:
- Demonstrated six or more years’ relevant experience within the resources sector;
- Minimum two years of experience in a supervisory role
- Experience with construction, isolation processes, inspecting, testing and commissioning
- Experience with managing and supervising teams and subcontractors
- Strong leadership skills
