Industry Skills Australia (ISA) as the Transport and Logistics Jobs and Skills Council (JSC) is committed to building the capability of key stakeholders in the skills ecosystem through collaboration.

This role is fulltime fixed term contract up to March 2028.

The role of the Project Specialist is responsible for the development and maintenance of ISA’s training products as identified in the Strategic Workforce Development Committee’s (SWPC) Workforce Plans and associated Activity Schedules. This role will also extend into the development of materials to support the implementation of training packages such as learning resources and companion volumes.

The role will have responsibility for the training package/product development lifecycle and is accountable for the overall suitability and compliance of ISA’s training packages or products.

The Project Specialist is required to support the relevant Training Product and Implementation Working Groups by participating and managing workforce development projects.

The role acts as the steward of ISA’s nationally endorsed training packages ensuring all supporting activities, products and services are delivered professionally to the highest standards and in compliance with the Training Package Organising Framework (TPOF).

As a Jobs and Skills Council, ISA’s remit now extends to cover the broader field of workforce development, and the project specialists will also be required to be directly involved with workforce development project activity that does not include training product development.
