About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in North Sydney. This permanent, full-time position plays a critical role in supporting the growth of our allied health workforce across multiple disciplines.
This role is best suited to a recruiter with proven experience recruiting within the allied health sector, who understands the nuances of sourcing Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Psychologists, Behaviour Support Practitioners, Physiotherapists and other community-based clinicians.
You will partner closely with hiring managers to attract high-calibre clinicians in a competitive market while enhancing our recruitment processes and employer brand.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute targeted recruitment strategies specifically for allied health roles
Manage the full end-to-end recruitment process including job briefs, advertising, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management and onboarding
Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce planning, utilisation targets and clinical capability requirements
Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, SEEK, industry networks, universities and professional associations
Conduct structured behavioural interviews and candidate assessments
Provide market insights, salary benchmarking and talent mapping within the allied health landscape
Maintain accurate and compliant records within the applicant tracking system
Contribute to employer branding initiatives to position the organisation as an employer of choice within allied health
Essential Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline
3–5+ years’ recruitment experience, with demonstrated experience recruiting within allied health (essential)
Strong understanding of the allied health market, workforce challenges and professional registration requirements (e.g. AHPRA, NDIS, etc.)
Proven experience managing multiple vacancies in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Strong sourcing capability and ability to headhunt passive clinical talent
Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruitment platforms
