With fourteen operating segments and more than 300 employees, Marlin Group continues to grow across its core business areas and is now seeking an experienced Full-Time Bookkeeper to join our Accounting team at head office.

About the Role

This is a varied and hands-on role supporting multiple venues and business units. You will be responsible for a broad range of bookkeeping and accounting functions, working closely with the Company Accountant.

Your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Processing invoices and ensuring creditors are paid within agreed terms
  • Data entry and maintenance of accounting and related systems for assigned venues
  • Bank account and general ledger reconciliations
  • Weekly payroll processing
  • End-of-quarter accounting procedures, including preparation of statements for taxation authorities
  • Invoice and financial statement archiving
  • General administrative and accounting support as required

About You

  • You will bring a strong foundation in bookkeeping and enjoy working in a dynamic, multi-entity environment. You will be able to demonstrate:
  • Experience using MYOB Accounting Software
  • Strong attention to detail with solid numerical and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
