Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Administrator to manage financial records within the building and construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial statements, processing invoices, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities: – Maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial statements. – Process invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable. – Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. – Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting. – Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow. – Prepare and submit tax returns and other financial reports. – Support the administration team with general office duties as required. Qualifications: – Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry. – Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations. – Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. – Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. – Ability to work independently and as part of a team. – Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. – Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance are preferred.
