Mobile Auto Electrician and Accessories Installer

Hidrive is looking for a dedicated and hands-on Mobile Auto Electrician and Accessories Installer to join our team in Derrimut. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, on-the-tools work and takes pride in delivering high-quality installations. In this role, you’ll work across a diverse range of vehicles, fitting electrical systems and accessories while contributing to the quality craftsmanship and service standards that Hidrive is known for.

Travel to other national Hidrive locations will be required from time to time, depending on workload. The role offers variety, technical challenge and regular exposure to different vehicle builds in a fast‑paced, workshop driven setting.

Hidrive Group Pty Ltd is a 100% Australian owned company. Our business designs, manufactures and installs Hidrive Service Bodies and accessories for Light Commercial Vehicles and Trucks. About the role

The role consists of working as part of a team and independently fitting service bodies onto new vehicles as outlined in work instructions and engineering drawings. We have a clean, modern workshop with inhouse training and all tools provided.

About you

• Certificate 3 in Automotive Electrical Technology or Automotive Engineering
• 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
• Proactive, organised, and accountable to the business
• Demonstrated competency in Automotive electrical tasks, all accessories’ installations, fit out and vehicle integrations
• Innovation & Process mapping to consistently improve existing challenges and issues
• Work collaboratively with your manager and the team on site
• Adherence to Workplace Health & Safety policies are crucial
• Customer centricity
• High communication skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• You enjoy being part of a great culture and working in a collaborative team
• You have a keen eye for detail
• You think outside of the box and enjoy finding solutions for problems
