Reporting to the Group Accounts Manager, we are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join our Finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Process invoices in accordance with company policies and payment terms.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly payment runs (EFT, BPAY, cheques).
- Maintain vendor records and ensure data accuracy in the financial system.
- Respond to supplier and internal queries professionally and efficiently.
- Code and match purchase orders and invoices.
- Assist with month-end processes, including accruals and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with GST and other tax-related requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve AP processes.
- Support audits and provide documentation when required.
Minimum Requirements
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or finance role (typically 2+ years).
- Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (desirable).
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, Dynamics or Xero).
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent organisational. time management skills and communication skills.
