The Opportunity
The Senior Sales Engineer is responsible for driving growth by providing technical sales support, developing strong customer relationships, and delivering engineered solutions aligned with our manufacturing and technology capabilities. This role will bridge the gap between Sales and Engineering, ensuring proposals are technically sound, commercially competitive, and aligned with operational capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and manage new and existing customer relationships
- Understand customer requirements and translate them into viable technical solutions
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company’s growth strategy
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, quotations, and scopes of work
- Support contract negotiations and project handover to delivery teams
- Monitor project progress from a commercial perspective and manage variations where required
- Participate in site visits, inspections, and customer meetings
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and sales pipelines
- Ensure solutions comply with relevant standards, specifications, and safety requirements
About You
- Engineering qualification (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or similar)
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and costings
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
