The Opportunity
In this role, you will provide high level engineering and design expertise across our core product range, ensuring the highest standards of quality, performance and customer satisfaction. You will lead technical reviews, provide end to end engineering support across the business, and mentor developing engineers within the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee GTE equipment design and manufacture from order confirmation through to onsite installation
- Provide end to end engineering advice across departments
- Liaise with key stakeholders to identify risks and provide technical solutions
- Assess, recommend and implement product modifications or redesigns
- Design new equipment for emerging markets identified by Sales and Management
- Recommend product improvements to enhance quality, reduce cost and improve reliability
- Mentor and develop junior engineers within the team
About You
- Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in a Mechanical Engineering role, ideally within a manufacturing environment
- Strong project management capability (desirable)
- High proficiency in SolidWorks
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to produce clear, comprehensive technical documentation
- Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
