Why This Role:
• Geely Auto Australia are seeking an experienced, motivated and driven Warranty Operations Lead with expertise in warranty systems, policies, procedures and claim processing.
• As the Warranty Operations Lead at Geely Auto Australia, you will lead the warranty department and play a crucial role in guaranteeing accurate, timely and efficient claim processing in accordance with the manufacturer’s standards.
Key responsibilities:
• Lead and oversee the Warranty function with the establishment of procedures, policies and the end-to-end warranty claim processes ensuring alignment to the manufacturers’ standards.
• Manages the entire warranty claim lifecycle, from initiation to resolution, focusing on customer satisfaction, process efficiency, quality and cost control.
• Manage claim adjudication, claim processing, payments, reconciliation and reporting between the dealer partners to Geely Auto Australia, ensuring compliance.
• Function as the primary warranty contact for the dealer partners, Geely Auto Australia team members and the headquarters to ensure accurate, timely, efficient and effective warranty claim processing.
• Provide detailed analysis and reporting of all warranty related costs and business measures for improvements and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
• Coordinate and conduct training and audits ensuring dealer partners are competent with all facets of the manufacturer warranty standards, guidelines and policies.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years Warranty working experience or similar within an automotive national sales company or similar.
• Leadership and/or specialist experience
• Process and procedural orientation, analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data with a strong attention to detail
• Competence and experience with warranty processing, claims handling, IT systems and the automotive wholesale and retail landscape
• Technical knowledge, understanding of the company’s products and warranty regulations.
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills
• Team player with a collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving
• Strong time management/planning and organising skills to meet deadlines
