We are seeking a Head Chef, or a very strong Sous Chef ready to step into a Head Chef role, to lead our kitchen in Geraldton, Western Australia.
This role suits a chef who can confidently run a kitchen while also working closely and collaboratively with the owner as the venue moves through an exciting rebrand and expansion in a shared, clearly defined direction.
Key responsibilities include:
✔️ Full kitchen management and leadership
✔️ Leading, training and managing kitchen staff
✔️ Menu development, costing and food margin control
✔️ Restructuring kitchen systems, workflow and team structure
✔️ Hiring as the team grows
✔️ Working collaboratively with ownership on menu direction and rebrand vision
✔️ Maintaining and enforcing exceptional standards of cleanliness, food safety and compliance
✔️ Opportunity to expand trading hours, with plans to open three nights per week
