About Us
Flying Start Children’s Therapy was established in 2019, with a vision to support children and their families on the Surf Coast and Geelong region. We pride ourselves on offering a range of innovative, fun, family centred and outcome focused services for children and their families.
Flying Start Children’s Therapy is a child safe, NDIS registered multidisciplinary team who promotes the safety, wellbeing, and inclusion of all children.
The Role
We are a paediatric allied health practice seeking like-minded clinicians. You will function as a member of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team. Flying Start is comprised of numerous disciplines including, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Dietician, and Psychologist. The team is committed to working with children and families to provide high quality programs which embrace child and family centred practice.
Most children accessing our service have developmental delays or diagnosed disabilities with NDIS funding. Services are also offered to private paying families and those under Medicare Plans.
This position will suit an energetic, proactive, and passionate team member willing to work collaboratively within a team setting as well as independently managing a caseload. You will have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with children and families, as well as other health and educational professionals.
Location
Our physiotherapist may provide in-clinic sessions at our brand-new clinic at the Torquay Medical Hub, community sessions and in addition, or as alternative, Telehealth sessions.

Requirements
• A graduate or post-graduate degree in Physiotherapy
• AHPRA registration, Working with Children Check, Police Check and driver’s license
• Knowledge of NDIS and post-graduate training or qualifications in paediatric Physiotherapy would be advantageous
