Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fitting and repairing trucks, ensuring they are in optimal working condition. This role requires strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Skills:

– Strong mechanical aptitude

– Knowledge of truck components and systems

– Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Responsibilities:

– Fitting new parts and components onto trucks as needed

– Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues with trucks

– Conducting routine maintenance on trucks to ensure they are in good working order

– Testing vehicles after repairs or maintenance work is completed

– Documenting all work performed on trucks accurately

Qualifications:

– Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology (Heavy Vehicle)

– Proven experience as a Truck Fitter or similar role

– Valid driver’s license

– Strong understanding of truck mechanics

– Ability to lift heavy objects
