About eSIM Go

eSIM Go exists to help businesses bring seamless, affordable connectivity to their customers, wherever they are in the world. We’re rethinking the traditional wholesale model: our platform combines modern technology with direct relationships with Tier 1 mobile network operators, so our partners can launch and scale connectivity products fast and win with mobile.

We’re growing quickly, and that growth comes down to our people. Technology runs through everything we do, but it’s a skilled, ambitious team that makes it work. That’s where you come in.

About the Role

As a DevOps Engineer at eSIM Go, you’ll help build and maintain the infrastructure, automation and reliability that our Reseller platform runs on. You’ll work closely with the Engineering team on the cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines and monitoring systems that let our developers ship quickly and safely, while keeping our platform secure, scalable and highly available for partners around the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructure in AWS.
  • Support and improve our CI/CD pipelines, enabling fast, reliable and repeatable deployments.
  • Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to provision and manage environments consistently.
  • Help implement and maintain monitoring, logging and alerting to support platform reliability.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation, responding to incidents, diagnosing root causes and carrying out post-incident reviews to prevent recurrence.
  • Identify repeatable operational tasks and automate them.
  • Support distributed systems, containerisation and orchestration in a cloud environment.
  • Follow and help uphold security best practices across infrastructure, including secrets management, vulnerability scanning and access control.
  • Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot performance, scalability and deployment issues.
  • Write documentation for infrastructure, processes and runbooks.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • ~5+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE or Infrastructure Engineering role.
  • Solid computer science foundations, including some exposure to distributed systems.
  • Experience working in AWS cloud environments.
  • Experience writing Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Experience with CI/CD tooling (e.g. GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
  • Experience with containerisation (Docker); exposure to orchestration (Kubernetes) a plus.
  • Familiar with monitoring and observability tooling (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, CloudWatch).
  • Familiar with security standards and authentication methods (API key, JWT, OAuth 2.0, etc).
  • Familiar with Cloudflare.
  • Comfortable participating in an on-call rotation.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Go, Java or C# is a bonus.
  • Experience with Event-Driven architecture.
  • Familiarity with database administration and optimisation (Postgres).
  • Experience working in a telecoms or SaaS environment.

Who You Are:

  • An excellent troubleshooter with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • A strong communicator, comfortable working with stakeholders and customers.
  • Comfortable working in a multicultural, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.
  • Collaborative and supportive, keen to keep learning from more senior team members.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive compensation package.
  • Performance-based incentive programme.
  • Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options.
  • Access to ongoing training, workshops and professional development resources.
  • Generous leave policies including vacation, sick leave and public holidays.
