About the Role: Site Manager
As a Site Manager, you’ll be the boots-on-the-ground leader responsible for delivering projects safely, on time, and to the highest standard. You’ll coordinate trades, manage site activities, and ensure everything runs like a well-oiled machine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all on-site construction activities with confidence and control
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel
- Maintain site safety, quality assurance, and compliance with all regulations
- Drive project timelines, ensuring key milestones are met
- Resolve site issues swiftly and proactively
- Communicate effectively with Project Managers, clients, and consultants
- Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular inspections
- Ensure all documentation, reporting, and record-keeping is up to date
- Foster a positive, can-do team environment on site
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience in a Site Manager, Supervisor or Foreman role (commercial construction or fit-out)
- Deep understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and safety protocols
- Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills
- Strong ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and project specs
- Proven experience running multiple trades and tight programs
- A commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
- White Card and relevant qualifications (e.g. Certificate IV in Building & Construction)
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
