We are looking for trade-qualified Mechanical Fitters and Boilermakers to join our team in Gladstone, with opportunities available across both workshop and site-based roles. Whether you prefer the consistency of workshop work or the variety of shutdowns and site projects, Mecha has a place for you.

Available Roles

Site-Based:

• Mechanical Fitters & Boilermakers – Projects, maintenance, installations and shutdowns across QAL, BSL, RTAY, and QMAG

Workshop-Based:

• Mechanical Fitters – Assembly, repairs, and overhauls of fixed plant equipment

• Boilermakers – Fabrication and welding of structural and mechanical components

What You Will Be Doing

• Read and interpret technical and fabrication drawings

• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment

• Fabricate, weld, and assemble components (Boilermakers)

• Troubleshoot faults and complete job records

• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment

• Work independently or as part of a team

• Leading Hand opportunities for experienced tradespeople

What We are Looking For

• Relevant Trade Qualification – Mechanical Fitter or Boilermaker

• Strong mechanical aptitude and commitment to safety

• Ability to work locally in Gladstone and Rockhampton (no FIFO)

• Site roles: Ability to complete site inductions, medicals, and compliance (Blue/Yellow Medipass)
