Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Area Sales Manager to oversee sales operations within a designated geographic region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of sales representatives, developing and implementing sales strategies, and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets within the designated region
  • Manage a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure they meet their targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders within the region
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and development
  • Analyze sales data and provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance and market trends
  • Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote the company’s products and services

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Proven experience as an Area Sales Manager or similar role, with a track record of achieving sales targets
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and development
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and techniques
  • Willingness to travel within the designated region as required
