Join DARE Disability Support and help shape the future through our exciting new DARE Academy initiative.

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced and purpose-led Project Officer to lead the development and delivery of our DARE Academy, an innovative program designed to support people with disability in building the skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to thrive in the workforce.

In this role, you’ll manage the project from end-to-end: planning, stakeholder engagement, curriculum development, team coordination, and impact reporting. You’ll play a key role in empowering participants and building strong pathways into employment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and coordinate all aspects of the DARE Academy project, ensuring goals, timelines, and budgets are met
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to maximise participant success
  • Design and deliver training materials and employment-readiness resources
  • Use a Train-the-Trainer model to build capability across our Support Worker team
  • Build partnerships with DES providers, local employers, and community stakeholders
  • Promote the program in collaboration with our Marketing team
  • Supervise Job Coaches and oversee daily delivery of participant support
  • Provide clear, impactful reporting to senior leadership and the steering committee

About You

You’re a natural organiser and collaborator, passionate about creating inclusive opportunities and positive change. You bring:

  • Experience in the disability sector, employment services, community programs or related projects.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence to lead and train others
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Teams, and SharePoint
  • A collaborative mindset and initiative to drive outcomes
  • A heart for purpose-led work and a belief in every person’s potential

Why Work With Us?

We’re a close-knit team that values innovation, inclusion, and making a difference. You’ll join a positive workplace culture, enjoy flexibility, and contribute to something that matters every single day.
