At Custm, we are dedicated to every client’s success. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Training and Compliance Manager to join our team. The Training and Compliance Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our operations adhere to industry regulations and best practices while fostering a culture of continuous learning and development among our workforce. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the last mile in the courier PUD industry and a drive for providing exceptional support to our drivers and clients.

Key Result Areas and Responsibilities

• Stay up-to-date with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards applicable to the transport and logistics sector.

• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs and policies to ensure the company’s operations meet all legal requirements.

• Design, develop, and deliver training programs that address the specific needs of our employees, including driver safety, compliance, and operational excellence.

• Establish a comprehensive onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they receive proper training on safety and compliance protocols.

• Identify training needs through regular assessments and feedback mechanisms.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to training, certifications, and compliance activities.

• Oversee the documentation of incident reports, investigations, and corrective actions taken to address compliance issues.

• Conduct regular internal audits and inspections to evaluate compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Develop and implement corrective action plans based on audit findings.

• Collaborate with regulatory agencies, industry associations, and other stakeholders to stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes.

• Act as a liaison between the company and external auditors or inspectors.

• Foster a culture of compliance and continuous improvement within the organisation.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Logistics, Compliance).

• Extensive experience in compliance management within the transport and logistics industry.

• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best practices.

• Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
