Costa Taco is on the hunt for a passionate and reliable Cook / Kitchen Team Member to join our crew.

We serve authentic Mexican food with traditional flavours and are on a mission to create a new experience in Mexican hospitality! We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in every plate,

Your Role:

• Complete daily opening and closing procedures
• Assist with stocktake and prep list planning
• Prepare food to Costa Taco standards — fast, fresh, consistent
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen throughout your shift
• Restock service stations (grill, pass, bain-marie) as needed
• Follow food safety protocols — temp logs, sanitising, HACCP
• Monitor and record food wastage
• Support inventory and stock rotation procedures
• Contribute to smooth lunch and dinner service operations
• Complete shift reports and communicate effectively with the team

What You Bring:

• Kitchen experience preferred, but we’ll train the right person.
• Strong attention to detail, speed, initiative, and cleanliness.
• Passion for food and consistency.
• Team player with a positive attitude and work ethic.
• Flexibility to work across lunch and dinner service.
