About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Female Disability Support Worker to support a 61-year-old female client in South Granville, NSW with complex mental health and behavioural needs.
Client Presentation Includes:
Non-compliant behaviours
Self-harm tendencies
Sexually inappropriate behaviours
Suicidal ideation
Schizoaffective Disorder
Borderline Personality Disorder
Major Depressive Disorder
Generalised Anxiety Disorder
Type 2 Diabetes
About You:
You bring:
Experience with high/complex needs
Confidence managing challenging behaviours
Strong communication and de-escalation skills
Cultural sensitivity (Vietnamese-speaking preferred)
Personal care experience (hygiene, incontinence)
Calmness, patience, and resilience
Essential Requirements:
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Employee WWCC
First Aid (HLTAID011) & CPR (HLTAID009)
Driver’s licence + reliable insured car
Cert III in Disability/Individual Support or equivalent
Minimum 1 year relevant experience
Willingness to undergo compliance checks
