Job summary:

The Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for managing the completion of all packing facility logistics requirements to serve internal and external customers. This includes overseeing the transportation, storage, and distribution of goods within Tennyson, QLD. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and possess strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate transportation of goods to and from the packing facility

2. Manage inventory levels to ensure timely delivery of products

3. Supervise a team of logistics staff to ensure efficient operations

4. Monitor shipping schedules and resolve any delays or issues

5. Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and logistics activities

Skills:

1. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

2. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

3. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

4. Experience with logistics software systems preferred

5. Knowledge of safety regulations related to transportation and storage

Qualifications:

1-2 years experience in a logistics or warehouse supervisory role

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field preferred

Forklift certification is a plus
